About the Owner

Pamela Tyre, MA, is a Certified Professional Coach and veteran elementary and middle school teacher who loves working with kids to improve their health and state of mind.  After obtaining a BS in Exercise Sports Science from Texas State University, Pamela taught in the Plano (Texas) Independent School District before moving to Denver, Colorado.  For six years Pamela held successful marketing and sales positions in the Denver Metro Area before confirming her passion for working with children. "Coach Tyre" returned to teaching and spent 11 years with Cherry Creek Schools as a Physical Education Teacher, and coach for girls volleyball, track and basketball.  She started an intramural program at her middle school where students could arrive before the start of the school day so they could play games, while working through any personal or school-related struggles, in a safe environment while having fun and exercising.  Coach Tyre was the first Physical Education teacher in Cherry Creek Schools to win a grant for a program.  This program incorporated physical movement with math that also encouraged students to become more comfortable with dance in front of others as they practiced to the latest music.
